The syllabus covers pre-event and post-event massage techniques, for use both before and after physical exertion. HOT STONE MASSAGE COURSE - 1 day
The technique uses heated Basalt Lava stones that warm the client’s muscles, allowing a much deeper working of the tissues than a conventional massage. Stones are chosen to correspond to specific parts of the body, oil is smoothed onto the client and the stone is then worked along the skin in place of the therapist’s hand. Cold marble stones are also used as part of the treatment in order to balance the body.
Stone Massage or hot stone therapy can be incorporated into other treatments such as reflexology, aromatherapy, indian head massage and even manicure, pedicure and facials.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE COURSE - 1 day
This special form of massage works on the energy chakras and is a wonderful way of relieving stress and its effects on the systems of the body. Tension floats away through relaxation of the muscles and improved circulation to the brain helps to clear the mind and improve hair and scalp condition. The massage can be applied without clients having to disrobe and the use of oils is optional although beneficial.
