Sunless Tanning

Summer has now arrived in the UK in full throttle. Everyone is stripping off into his or her shorts and we want our bodies in their best condition. But with more exposure to the powerful sun we need to protect our skin from sun damage.

If you are wondering why everyone already has a tan and you don’t – the answer is simple, you just haven’t caught onto it. Fake tan is the key to a safe tanning experience. These days technology is so advanced that orange fake tans are no longer a by-product of this experience. Even the word fake doesn’t seem right anymore as these tans look real. Let’s call it an artificial tan.

You can either go to a spray booth such as the Mystic Tan booths found at The Tanning Shop franchise or get a spray tan are your local salon. Or if you prefer to work from home there are numerous products across a vast price range to get you golden. You could even taking a spray tanning course and learn the art yourself. The key to any of this is to prepare your skin. Chant to yourself ‘Exfoliate and moisturize, exfoliate and moisturize…’ You get my point.

If you don’t look after your skin your tan will turn out patchy and orange, there is no denying it. But with a proper skincare routine you will come out with something beautiful. By fake tanning you are less likely to spend time laying out in the sun. But if you do remember to always slather your body in sun cream.
