MakeUp in Paris 2012

MakeUp in Paris 2012 hosts for the third year in a row, on 21 and 22 June 2012 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, professionals from the formulation and packaging industry but also full-service specialists and designers for the satisfaction of marketing, procurement or development teams coming from Brands operating in the global sector of cosmetics.

According to their official website, MakeUp in Paris is also a laboratory where make-up artists, technicians and trend setters mix together to develop products always more remarkable, and whose talent is directly staged on the very venue of the event in the form of make-up animations and as part of targeted conferences and of creation workshops.

On June 21 the programme included the Black Beauty Label - a very specific know-how for make-up of black which was provided by the association Label Beauté Noire who is a specialist in this area. The say continued with The Leonard Brushes’ demonstration on their new brush “eBrush” which enables to draw and make-up on all touchscreens available on the market.

Lastly, a major conference on Plastic and Make-up brought together key industry players attending MakeUp in Paris, who presented the latest innovations in this field.

The second day includes ‘The power of nails!’ conference; an HCT presentation of expected trends for seasons to come; ‘The art of packaging!’ as well as ‘Building make-up connections online!’ testimonials.

Speaking on the trade show, Sandra Maguarian, show manager, said “One of the highlights is definitely the make-up animation demo, where make-up artists are performing. By doing this they can show how to use the products displayed in the booth and the benefits of using them. Plus we have a long list of conferences. We are trying to have conferences around different topics to do with make-up, not only innovation, but the cultural, artistic and technological side – we are trying to cover all subjects.”
