Your Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2 will consist of not only school training, but also home case study and portfolio work.
Core Subjects
The course also includes the following units for home study:
- Ensure responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety
- Promote additional services or products to clients
- Develop and maintain effectiveness at work
- Fulfil salon reception duties

- Externally accredited qualifications increase your chances of getting jobs as employers recognise these qualifications as work ready in the same way as GCSE's and A levels in other subjects.
- Accredited qualifications are recognised both nationally and internationally e.g. NVQ's in England & Wales and SVQ's in Scotland. The opportunity to work abroad or on cruise ships is significantly increased by having these qualifications accredited externally.
- You will be able to obtain public liability insurance.
- Some advanced courses require an accredited qualification as a pre-requisite for the course.

Locations
The Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2 training course can be completed at our Windsor, Exmouth, Brentwood, Cardiff, Glasgow, Durham, Derby, Tamworth, Stockport and York training colleges. Refreshments will be provided for you.
Entry requirement for Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2
No previous experience is necessary to complete our Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2 training course. It is a requirement for a uniform to be worn. View our uniforms.
