‘Spray Tans Are Safe’ - Reassures CTPA

Following the US scientists’ fears over the safety of spray tanning, the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA) has defended the spray tanning industry.

According to CTPA’s Media Centre, “DHA has recently been reviewed by the European Commission’s independent expert scientific committee (the SCCS), which advises the Commission on scientific matters and the safety of cosmetic ingredients. The SCCS looked at data to support the use of DHA in cosmetic formulations and also specifically its use in spray cabins.

Product of the Year UK Winners are Announced

At the UK product of the year awards, Procter and Gamble was personal care’s biggest winner. On the evening of 24th January, the awards which took place at London’s One Marylebone was hosted by comedian Hugh Dennis. 

These awards were established in France 25 years ago, and takes place in 32 countries globally. More than 10,000 consumers voted to decide the winners, in a survey conducted by TNS.
