Waxing Course - 1 day
Waxing is one of the most popular salon treatments for which clients return every four to six weeks. You will be taught using the Carlton Institute's own Warm Waxing system called Beauty Works. The wax is a natural product which permits fast, effective and almost painless removal of all superfluous hair. The syllabus covers all areas of face and body waxing (including leg waxing, bikini waxing, underarms, facial hair, eyebrow wax) and you will also learn how to do Hot Waxing.

Depilation Diploma - 1 day + evening

Electrolysis Course - 4 days (includes Blend Electrolysis)
Permanent hair removal is a service for which there is heavy demand from clients who must come to you regularly for some time. You will quickly learn to provide safe and effective Diathermy needle epilation and Blend electrolysis for body and facial hair removal, whilst studying relevant government legislation, causes of superfluous hair growth and treatment planning.
Duration: 2 days per month for 2 months

Advanced Electrolysis Course (thread vein course) - 2 days
(note this special course is held only twice per year)
For treatment of minor cosmetic blemishes e.g. thread veins (telangiectasia), skin tags and milia (whiteheads).
Entry requirement: Suitable electrolysis qualification and at least 1 year's experience*.
Duration: 2 days

Sugaring Course - half day or evening
The effects of Sugaring are similar to waxing but the method differs in its application and removal. It is ideal for mobile work and for sensitive skins as the sugaring formula does not need to be heated. It can take a little longer to provide a sugaring treatment and this is reflected in higher treatment prices. We hold evening sugaring courses following waxing courses so that students can do both on the same day.
